A child who is cold or wet won’t enjoy their day on the slopes. Degré7 kids’ ski clothing is designed to keep your children warm and dry, whether they’re taking their first steps at ski school or skiing all day with their ski club. With cuts adapted to growing bodies, freedom of movement and bright colours, every piece is made for the mountains and for the way kids ski.
For the youngest skiers, warmth and ease of dressing come first. The Firay, Soni and Syno kids’ ski jackets, paired with Nuts or Nougat ski trousers, make outfits that are quick to put on and easy to spot on the slopes thanks to their bright colours.
As children grow, they ski faster and for longer. The Start, Veta and Dilie ski jackets, together with the Front and Ride ski trousers, offer more technical protection and a bolder style for juniors who spend their days on the slopes.
Just like for adults, the best way to keep a child warm is to combine three layers. The Placette kids’ base layer, worn next to the skin, wicks away sweat. A kids’ fleece such as the Pirae insulates and holds in heat. Finally, the ski jacket and ski trousers protect against wind, cold and snow. This system also lets you adapt the outfit to the weather by adding or removing a layer.
Look for a waterproof, breathable jacket with a hood and a snow skirt to keep snow out when they fall. Practical pockets, zips that are easy to use with gloves on and bright colours that make your child visible on the slopes also make a real difference day to day.
Our kids’ ski clothing comes in sizes from 2 to 16 years. Choose the size that matches your child’s age, or the next size up if they are tall for their age or between sizes. Avoid buying a size too big “to grow into”: an oversized jacket lets the cold in and restricts movement. The size guide on each product page will help you choose.
Since 1982, Degré7 has been dressing skiers of all ages. Once the kids are kitted out, explore our men’s ski clothing and women’s ski clothing for the whole family, as well as our accessories to complete the look. Find out more about our values and environmental commitments.
How should I dress my child for skiing? Use the three-layer system: a technical base layer next to the skin, a fleece for insulation, then waterproof ski jacket and ski trousers. Add gloves, a hat or neck warmer, and a helmet.
What size kids’ ski jacket should I choose? Choose the size that matches your child’s age, or the next size up if they are tall for their age. Avoid a size too big, which lets the cold in and restricts movement.
What ages do you make kids’ ski clothing for? Our kids’ ski clothing covers ages 2 to 16, with styles designed for toddlers and others for junior skiers.
What are the delivery and return terms? Delivery is free on orders over €100, to your home or a pick-up point, and you have 30 days to change your mind.
